Since 2012, our mission at Teen Angel Project (TAP) has been to bring joy to communities in need, free of charge, through music and dance. Our performers are Washington, D.C. area middle and high school students, and TAP is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity operating in the state of Maryland.

In March 2020, TAP began holding virtual rehearsals and performances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our cast members have been rehearsing on Zoom and outdoors (in masks and socially distant) from September to April, to film materials that we share through social media and virtual platforms. TAPestry 2021, filmed over two days in March, is the culmination of this extraordinary effort; a monumental achievement of our dedicated and talented youth and Artistic Staff, and the capstone of our most unique season in our nine year history.

While we wish we could have presented TAPestry in-person this year, we hope that with your help, our video can reach a wide audience with our message of hope and inspiration. TAPestry 2021 forms a bridge between this very challenging period and our future as an organization, which we hope will begin with our return to performing, in-person, at assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and rehab centers within the Metro Washington D.C. area during our 10th season in the fall of 2021.
