MASTER CLASSES
At our organization, we are dedicated to providing our ensemble members with valuable opportunities to connect with other talented individuals in their respective fields. We believe that fostering these connections enhances collaboration and inspires growth, ultimately enriching the experiences of all involved. Through master classes, we aim to facilitate meaningful interactions that empower our members to thrive creatively.
RYAN WATKINSON
Ryan Watkinson was our inaugural master class presenter! Hailing from Montgomery County, Ryan captivated us with his incredible stories from the Broadway stage. He not only shared his experiences but also guided our members through a number from his current show, "How to Succeed," along with the delightful choreography of "Be Our Guest" from "Beauty and the Beast." It was truly an inspiring session that left us all motivated and energized!

ADIN WALKER
We welcomed Adin Walker as a master class presenter. A talented local actor from Montgomery County, he began his journey by starting his own dance group "Renegade" in high school. He further honed talents his at Princeton, focusing on directing and choreography. Adin's passion for the arts shines through in his work.

NOAH KIESERMAN
Noah Kieserman, seen on Broadway and in the national tour of "Dear Evan Hansen" dropped by to present a master class to our students. A Montgomery County native, and member of TAP in our first year, Noah was in town to perform at the Kennedy Center and stopped in!! Noah shared invaluable insights about experiences in auditioning and life on tour. His journey inspired our community and provided a unique perspective on the challenges and triumphs of a performing artist. We were grateful for his time and expertise!

ANDREW CAO
Andrew Cao visited us for a quick weekend from NYC, bringing his vibrant energy as the assistant choreographer for Aladdin on Broadway. He was engaging and made learning a few routines an absolute blast for our members. Everyone had a fantastic time, and his passion for dance truly shone through!
LIZ RACNELLI
Not all master classes take place in our studios. Our Inaugural off site master class took place in NYC at Pearl studios!! We could say we were above the lights of Broadway!! Our presenter was Liz Racnelli who was then the assistant associate choreographer on Hamilton, and now she is the resident choreographer for Six, on Broadway! We had a wonderful day with a three hour master class, then a quick lunch and then on to a show!!! We saw Bettlejuice!!

GABI STAPULA & SEAN WATKINSON
Our most recent NYC masterclass, featured Gabi Stapula and Sean Watkinson, both stars of their respective Broadway shows—Gabi "Back to the Future" and Sean in "Beautiful." On a Saturday morning, they took time out to work with our ensemble, crafting a routine that would later shine at TAPestry. The energy was electric, and everyone left with smiles after a rewarding session. After class, we enjoyed a quick lunch before heading off to see "Back to the Future," making for a spectacular day with inspiration and talent! Sean, like Noah is also a founding member of TAP !

JEREMY MCSHAN
Jeremy McShan worked with the ensemble, on a very exciting routine!! A local talent as well, Jeremy brought Jazz to a whole new level. He introduced choreography called "When the Chips are down" from Hadestow, that will premiere at TAPestry 2025!!

KRISTEN FISH
Our first guest for 2025 was the very talented Kristen Fish. A graduate of JMU, she is a full time teacher in ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, jazz and technique at Adrenaline Dance Studio, in Herndon VA. Our ensemble members learned a challenging choreography to "All That Jazz". This number will also premiere at TAPpestry 2025. Thank you Kristen!!
