The COVID-19 pandemic has encouraged TAP to adjust its programming by developing a creative approach to performance and community service online!

Last season, TAP took a hybrid approach to rehearsals, meeting both virtually and in-person, outdoors. Our roadshows were all virtual via online community events, pre-recorded performances, and scheduled livestream performances for communities in need throughout the country.

Our students also continued to enjoy virtual masterclasses with musical theater professionals near and far, to keep up with their training and learn the ropes of navigating the professional world.

This year, in Season 10, we returned to rehearsing in-person in our home studio, masked and completely vaccinated. We also began safely performing in-person at nursing homes and local community events.

While putting the health and safety of our students, families, staff and community members first, TAP has learned a lot over the last 2 years about getting creative, remaining flexible, and sticking to the mission whatever the challenge may be. We are very excited to continue exploring the use of technology to bring education, performance, and community service together, as well as returning to normal in the coming performance seasons.
